About the role
Reckitt is seeking a proactive and strategic Shared Service Centre Junior Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. If you are passionate about financial reporting, enjoy the intricacies of budgeting, and have a knack for forecasting, this role could be your next career milestone. Your responsibilities
-Assist in preparation and submission of federal and state estimated tax payments and extensions
· Assist with outsourced tax functions including sales and use, property and real estate taxes
· Prepare tax payment vouchers and submit electronic tax payments/filings to tax authorities
· Prepare informational tax documents such as exemption/residency certificates, W-8BEN-Es, W-9s
· Assist with preparation of and correspondence related to US tax exemption certificates
· Lead scheduling of interviews and correspondence with other departments for tax related projects and collection of relevant data
· Upload sales and use tax reports, retrieve invoices, and manage related escrow accounts
· Assist in responding to tax notices
· Assist in preparation of state tax workpapers
· Assist in preparation of 5472's, 1120-F's and other foreign-related US tax forms
· Participate and assist with ongoing tax department projects and tasks such as audits, tax credits and incentives, uncertain tax positions, transactions, tax technology, etc.
· Manage department budget matters including tracking and paying advisor invoices
· Review standard language and track all third-party statements of work/contracts
· Track tax team metrics and controls across multiple legal entities
· Manage SharePoint document storage and databases across multiple legal entities, including trackers for notices, refunds, and payments
· Manage departmental administrative and personnel matters for 10-15 team members (e.g., meeting coordination, team events/training, new hire onboarding, travel coordination, volunteering initiatives, and other administrative matters)
· Assist with management of resource allocation/project staffing
· Assist with management presentations including creating PowerPoint presentations
· Assist with data collection and analysis
The experience we're looking for
· 1-3 years tax experience and/or 5-10 years relevant business experience preferred.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
· SAP and SharePoint experience a plus.
· BA/BS preferred.
· Successful candidates will possess a high attention to detail and be resourceful, flexible, articulate, energetic, hardworking, and effective at trouble-shooting.
· Successful candidates must be able to complete projects with minimal supervision, take initiative in creating and improving work processes, and work effectively on a variety of simultaneous matters in a fast-paced environment.
