Responsibilities

The Opportunity
The S&T Commercial Deployment Lead is a manager S&T deployment leadership role responsible for translating commercial business strategy into scalable digital capabilities across sales, route-to-market, distribution, and customer-facing ecosystems. This role acts as the primary bridge between Commercial functions, global teams and Technology, ensuring that enterprise platforms, digital tools, and innovation programs are effectively deployed to enable business growth, operational efficiency, and transformational change.
Operating within a high-complexity, large-scale environment, this leader oversees the end-to-end deployment of commercial technology initiatives that impact thousands of frontline users, distribution centers, and field execution routes. The position combines strategic roadmap ownership, deployment execution, business relationship management, and innovation leadership to ensure technology investments produce measurable business outcomes.
This role requires balancing executive-level strategic influence with hands-on deployment excellence, ensuring commercial priorities are converted into practical, scalable, and user-centric IT solutions across Mexico Foods and broader LATAM innovation initiatives. Key focus areas include digital transformation, deployment governance, capability roadmap design, emerging technology adoption, change enablement, and operational scalability.

Strategic Commercial Technology Leadership

* Serve as the trusted technology advisor to Commercial leadership, shaping digital strategy and deployment priorities aligned to business growth objectives.
* Define and maintain multi-year commercial capability roadmaps across sales, field execution, route optimization, and commercial productivity.
* Identify business pain points and convert them into scalable technology deployment opportunities.
* Align local commercial priorities with enterprise architecture, global innovation, and corporate strategy.

IT Deployment & Program Execution

* Lead the deployment of integrated commercial digital solutions across large user populations, ensuring scalability, adoption, and operational continuity.
* Oversee full deployment lifecycle, including solution design alignment, pilot execution, deployment planning, implementation governance, and post-launch adoption.
* Partner with PMO, architecture, product, and transformation teams to ensure deployment quality, budget discipline, and execution excellence.
* Ensure technology solutions are operationally viable across thousands of users, distribution centers, and route structures.

Business Transformation & Adoption

* Drive organizational readiness and change management to maximize adoption of deployed solutions.
* Measure deployment success through business KPIs, user adoption, and capability maturity.
* Coach commercial stakeholders to clearly articulate business requirements and digital priorities.
* Act as a strategic enabler for commercial transformation rather than solely a technical executor.

Innovation & Emerging Technology

* Evaluate, pilot, and scale new technologies including AI/ML, IoT, automation, cloud, and advanced analytics for commercial use cases.
* Build external innovation ecosystems with startups, vendors, accelerators, and strategic partners.
* Lead proof-of-concept initiatives that can become enterprise deployment blueprints.
* Continuously monitor industry trends to identify competitive advantages.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

* Lead and develop deployment teams while influencing cross-functional and matrixed teams.
* Manage senior stakeholder relationships, including CxO, functional leaders, and external partners.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Significant experience in enterprise IT, digital deployment, or commercial systems implementation within large-scale organizations.

* Experience in commercial, sales, field operations, or route-to-market technology ecosystems strongly preferred.

Technical Expertise
