Job Title: Data Transformation Program Manager
Role Overview:

We're looking for a tenacious and hardworking program manager to join us in leading a Data Governance and Transformation portfolio. You'll orchestrate initiatives that not only revolutionize how we harness and manage data but also pave the way for innovation and growth. As a key driver of our data governance strategy, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement best practice and champion a culture of data excellence
As a Program Manager within the Data team, you will coordinate, manage and deliver diverse complex business critical initiatives that span across different domains and multiple departments, with a primary focus on data governance and transformation.
The Data Program Manager is responsible for the governance, E2E program management and delivery of several streams of work (or portfolio's) within the Trips Data Department as per agreed timelines. The Program Manager role will partner, support and work proactively with the various teams to facilitate the work occurring between them and other business units and centralized functions.
The Program Manager will drive the scoping of any program on time and in full and eventually support the teams with the business case creation. The Program Manager will also identify key requirements needed from cross - functional teams and external vendors where necessary.
This role will also oversee the successful delivery of the program with an efficient governance for progress control and fast decision making. They will ensure that the team's roadmaps/plans focus on agreed business priorities, dependencies and strategies, and they deliver against the shared objectives and main activities with key achievements that have been agreed upon.
This role will be responsible for using and shaping Program Management resources/ways of working within the Data Department and support the introduction of recognized Program methodologies inside the wider team.
Program Managers are able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means not only being able to develop and drive high-level central initiatives, but also roll up your sleeves, dig in and help inspire change

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Craft Methodology and Standards:
* Lead best behaviors within Trips Data and be an ambassador for Project Management methodology by contributing to company adoption Program Management standards across the company
E2E program Management
* Lead independently End-to-end (E2E) complex Data Transformation and Governance programs from initiation to completion.
* Handle complex dependencies, Risks and Issues effectively to achieve a fit for purpose outcome
* Collaborate with team members within and beyond the Business unit to drive consistency and alignment where beneficial
Program Initiation and Planning:
* Drives the program scoping and planning working with different teams and creating associated documentation.
* Brings clarity to sponsor, teams and stakeholders by defining and documenting program objectives, requirements and success criteria, critical metrics, roadmap/E2E planning, risk and dependencies, cost estimates and in general program results.
Program Implementation and Completion
* Drive Program plan execution, ensuring Program objectives are met on agreed timelines. Brings programs to completion ensuring seamless launch and smooth handover to operations
* Track and report status and progress of all streams of work, identifying and highlighting where required, risk/issues/dependencies to governance groups or team members/groups. Create plans and actions to mitigate/solve risks, issues and/or dependencies.
Program Governance
* Design and implement Portfolio's governance ensuring clarity on accountability, efficient communication and decision making
* Design and implement efficient cross-organisational structures and mechanisms to ensure the program reaches its goals and objectives.
* Enable teams and leaders to make quality decisions and support in prioritization inside the Program.
* Can connect the dots and identify alliances, opportunities and risks/dependencies across projects and able to elevate them at the program level where appropriate
Delivery/Impact
* Drive the progress and successful delivery of large business initiatives that bring significant value to the business. They are the driving force that collaborates with multiple teams and departments to ensure that teams deliver significant change to the business covering the full scope, on agreed timelines and budget (where applicable).
Stakeholder Management
* Primary point of contact for the program related queries. Maintain high-level of engagement among geographically-diverse collaborators through social channels, email, facilitation & setup of virtual meetings & classroom settings, as well as individual in-person meetings. Ability to work and productively interact with different collaborators up to Sr Director Level
Success Metrics
* Define and measure the success metrics (and stage gate acceptance where needed) of the Program(s) in scope.
Facilitator
* Lead independently workshops to support the delivery of the Program(s)
Role Qualifications & Requirements
* Strong project management skills/experience (8+ years) including experience with a range of different methodologies and techniques. Preferably having a background in Agile Project management(Kanban, Scrum, SAFE), PMI/ Prince certification and / or LEAN.
* Program Management experience within Data / Data governance Transformation programs
* Solid business understanding, independently use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision making. Ability to tell a clear story with data/insights.
* Change Management experience at program level
* Be able to effectively communicate with people of a diverse set of backgrounds, seniority and domains including large audiences. Skilled communicator and validated relationship builder, able to operate within a multitude of formal and informal networks while handling the contending interests of varied collaborators.
* Strong interpersonal skills focused on collaboration. Building and maintaining lasting relationships and connections with diverse teams, across the organization and outside. Ability to work effectively and influence at Director and Senior Director level
* Highly organized and structured and make sure all processes run smoothly and in a reliable manner.
* Be able to lead, empower, and handle collaborators and project/program teams to achieve organizational goals. They also should be able to influence and steer leadership, senior management and groups. Challenge assumptions and ability to adapt or generate imaginative and innovative ideas
* Flexibility and the ability to function well within ambiguity and in a constantly changing environment.
* Ability to solve complex problems independently. They are able to break up a complex problem into actionable and easy to understand solutions. They are hands on and drive solutions to problems in partnership with the involved parties, while focusing on the opportunities.
* Program Managers make sure the program's outcomes are in line with customer needs and/or expectations
* Level of education - Bachelor degree or equivalent experience and craft experience
