Junior Fund Accountant - Reporting

Requirements

* University degree in Finance, Economics or similar; we are open for graduates or students with ability to work full time for Junior Position; previous internship or short corporate experience is nice to have
* Understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting
* Great communication skills. Knowledge of English at minimum B2 level
* Strong organizational with ability to work with deadlines
* Strong analytical skills and attention to details
* Accountability and client focused mindset
* Proficient command of MS Office (proficient knowledge of Excel), knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters

Responsibilities

* Preparing and reviewing monthly trustee / control packs for open ended funds
* Investigating queries from internal and external parties, providing justification or backups supporting accounting records
* Calculating and reviewing effective yields on bonds held in portfolio as well as fee accruals
* Reconciling cash balances between Fund Accounting records and Custody in order to recognize, investigate and justify any discrepancies
* Actively participating in cross-trainings, calls and meetings with the team and internal parties - for Specialist Position
