Junior Transport Planner (Weekend Planner)

This is a weekend position - Friday to Sunday (also Bank Holidays) - 20 hours per week - 3 weekends a month, 1 weekend off

Your responsibilities would include:

* Execute daily transportation planning activities, including load consolidation, mode selection, and route optimization.

* Manage booking and execution of transportation loads, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for Carriers, handling issue resolution and exceptions.

* Monitor Carrier status updates (in-transit, appointment, delivered, etc.) and proactively manage transportation exceptions.

* Communicate effectively with Customer Service and Warehouses regarding delivery changes.

* Cooperate with Internal Supply Chain teams and Carrier to optimize transportation operations.

You are a good candidate if you have:

* Student in at least 2nd year of Bachelor studies in Supply Chain.

* Eagerness to learn new systems and platforms.

* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with local teams and Carriers.

* Experience in managing operational tasks, prioritizing workloads, and meeting deadlines.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional interactions.

* Knowledge of transportation regulations, industry standards, and business policies.

* Fluency in English & Polish (spoken and written) to work effectively in an international environment.

You are a perfect match if you also have:

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain management or logistics.

* Familiarity with SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or similar platforms.

* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
