YOUR responsibilities as a Financial Control Specialist will include (but not limited to):
* Support the preparation of financial reports in line with local regulations and internal guidelines.
* Assist in compiling management accounts based on IFRS standards.
* Help with the preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits.
* Monitor and reconcile selected general ledger accounts.
* Contribute to the completion of statutory reports (e.g., for statistical offices or national banks).
* Participate in monthly closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
* Help track and improve the efficiency of financial closing processes.
* Support internal control checks and help resolve basic accounting system issues.

We are looking for a Financial Control Specialist with the following profile:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Accounting and Finance or equivalent)
* Minimum 2-3 years proven professional working experience in finance/accounting/audit
* Proficiency in the accounting standards, local GAAPs
* Fluent in English and Romanian (spoken and written)
* Knowledge of specifics of the FMCG environment
* General knowledge of taxation
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* You are a strong and analytical person with attention to detail, a great team player who can work with many stakeholders
* Knowledge and user experience with SAP is a plus
