Role Description
We are excited to welcome a Data Hunter to join our fast growing and hugely successful Advanced Analytics team, made up of talented and diverse Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Analysts. We are constantly striving to work with the best talent and technologies in order to stay at the forefront to beat the best.
As a Data Hunter your role is to optimise our external data capability, whilst collaborating to help deliver all other elements of the Allianz UK Commercial data enrichment strategy. Supporting with the day to day activities of the team, working with internal and external stakeholders and promoting data enrichment throughout Allianz UK.
This will be a hybrid role based out of our Guildford office.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £40,000 per year.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
* Work closely with the Enrichment Manager on delivery of the data enrichment strategy.
* Identify opportunities for new data opportunities & promote the use of external data throughout Allianz Commercial to meet business requirements
* Support the Enrichment Manager on BAU reporting and actions
* Acts as a data Subject Matter Expert (SME) to continually improve our insights and support business users of our data
* Work with Data Enrichment Manager to build client insights and reporting
* Provides accurate, timely and actionable business information using a range of systems and software
* Support data governance of Allianz's data estate and adherence to policies and procedures
* Ensure external data services are managed in line with data regulation.
* Collaborate with data stakeholders to integrate enrichment data into our data pipelines and systems.
Essential Skills
* Ability to adapt your communication style where necessary and confidence to present insights to audiences of leaders or specialists in specific areas
* You will be quick to learn with the ability to prioritise activities and be responsive to the needs of the business and have the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
* Experience working with agile methodologies
