We have a fantastic and interesting opportunity for an SLB Treasury Manager to join our London team.

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) is Santander's global division that supports some of the world's most complex and sophisticated corporate and institutional clients, offering customized services and value-added wholesale products to best meet their needs.

As an SLB Treasury manager you'll play a key role supporting Treasury team across the different tasks and risks managed within the unit. Effectively, this role will support the three senior managers and ultimately the SLB Finance Director when required with the identification, monitoring, measurement, control, and management of structural balance sheet risks including liquidity and funding, transfer pricing, FX exposure and interest rate risk in the banking book. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment to deliver outstanding team results.

The difference you'll make:
* Assisting to develop balance sheet structural risk management and reporting capabilities, including liquidity, funding and transfer pricing, liquidity asset buffer
* Assisting in the management of the liquidity planning & forecasting
* Assisting the SLB Treasury Team in the identification, asses, control, and manage Liquidity and Structural risk against limits
* Assisting in the management of the SLB's Funding Plan and Contingency Plan
* Helping in the preparation of the SLB Fund Transfer Meeting MI
* Supporting the Head of Liquidity in the Management and oversight the SLB Corporate Deposit Book
* Helping in the design and executing of daily controls to mitigate the liquidity and structural risks
* Updating and maintaining the SLB Treasury Policies

What you'll bring:
* Proven experience working with large datasets of numbers and from multiple sources to extract value and create MI for senior stakeholders
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (Engineering, Finance, Science, Mathematics)

It would also be nice for you to have:
* Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills
* Working knowledge of financial products
* Proven experience in building collaborative relationships utilising excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders
* Demonstrable Project planning skills

This 12-month Fixed Term role is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston. Our current expectation is at least 3 days in the office every week.
