Hand Finisher / Parts Washer - Night Shift

We are looking for a Parts Washer/Hand Finisher, supporting the Night Shift reporting into the Operations Manager, to join the team. Find your future with us!

Role Overview

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
* Ensuring parts are washed or hand finished to the correct standard
* Working in line with production requirements and priorities
* Visual inspection of parts for defects
* Using computer systems to book completion of jobs.
* Working safely with minimal supervision.
* Ensure correct benching of components, including removal of sharp edges, cleaning of holes, use of orbital sanders, and hand de-burring to drawing and SOP requirements.
* Ensure finishing of components to achieve 'as drawn' features
* Part mark or ident product as per specifications/instructions provided as necessary

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
* Previous experience in a parts wash or hand finish role, in a manufacturing environment, or, experience of cleaning to a required standard.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
* Working knowledge of specifications, SOP's and Work Instructions.
* Relevant experience or an industry qualification demonstrating use of power/air tools and bench/fettle processes
* Demonstration of basic numeracy to read measuring equipment
* Attention to detail and diligence (right first time)
* Work with minimum supervision following instruction
* Initiative in time management and method
* Significant levels of concentration required
* Good verbal communicator
* Versatility and flexibility to support job requirements.
