Job Title: Procurement Group Leader
Location: Samlesbury- Hybrid, 3 days on site per week

Salary: £59,491 (DOE)

Job Description:
You'll play a key role in overseeing supplier delivery and performance across the Air sector, ensuring materials and services are delivered efficiently to support critical programmes. Working with procurement systems and performance tools, you'll oversee orderbook activities, supplier relationships and delivery performance, helping maintain good, reliable supply chains.
You'll coordinate and develop a team of buyers, supporting capability growth while ensuring compliance with governance and business processes. Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, quality and finance, you'll drive continuous improvement, mitigate supplier risk and support resilient supply chain operations-offering considerable Stakeholder exposure and opportunities to influence business performance.
Core duties:
* Oversee supplier delivery activities, ensuring orders are placed, tracked and delivered on time
* Coordinating and supporting a team, developing skills, performance and capability across buyer functions
* Monitoring orderbook performance, resolving issues and coordinating with stakeholders to maintain supply continuity
* Engaging with suppliers and internal teams, supporting performance reviews and driving improvements
* Mitigate risks and compliance, ensuring governance standards are met and supply chain resilience maintained
Essential Skills:
* Extensive procurement experience within aerospace or manufacturing, supporting supplier performance and operational delivery
* Considerable stakeholder management skills, building effective relationships and communicating clearly across internal and external teams
* Demonstratable experience coordinating supply chain orderbooks, including supplier risk, performance and opportunity management
* Experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Office and data tools to support reporting and operational insight
* Good data assessment skills, compiling information and presenting recommendations through reports and structured presentations
