Payroll and Benefits Assistant

Collaborating with the Payroll and Benefits team to support payroll and benefit processing. Carries out timely and accurate transactional processing of data, supporting the business with basic transactional pay and benefit queries.
You'll be responsible for:
* Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations.
* Dealing with MyHR Tier 2 queries within the service level agreements (SLA) set.
* Maintaining accurate and authorised bank payments promptly.
* Ensuring correct records are maintained for payroll related records include, tax, national insurance, social contributions, pensions, absences and any other relevant
* payments or deductions.
* Processing manual calculations if required.
* Processing attachment of earnings orders or other statutory deductions as per county legislation.
* Supporting and championing new ways of working.
* Processing payrolls and benefits accurately and on time.
* Liaising with colleagues on pay and benefits queries.
* Providing general administrate support.
* Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You'll need to have:
* Transactional process knowledge specific to the payrolls being processed.
* Experience working with outsourced vendors.
* Attention to detail, processing pay accurately and on time.
* Digitally savvy and a competent user of MS Office advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
