Job Description
Job Title: Platform Onboarding Consultant.
Salary: £40,824 -£49,896
Location: The role is based in Manchester and covers the North West of England.
Hours: Full-time
Working Pattern: We operate a hybrid working model; however, due to the nature of the role, the majority of the working week will be spent travelling to client appointments. Office attendance will be balanced alongside customer commitments.
What you'll be doing:
This is an exciting opportunity to represent the Scottish Widows Platform, working closely with advisers as they onboard and embed the platform into their wider business proposition. The platform is an advised intermediary investment solution designed to simplify and strengthen advisers' investment processes across ISAs, GIAs and pensions, enabling efficient portfolio management with strong governance, automation and operational oversight built in.
You'll work in close partnership with Business Development Managers and Business Development Account Managers, operating as a trusted peer and platform specialist rather than a traditional support function. Acting as an advocate for the platform, you'll bring its capabilities into adviser conversations, reinforce agreed commercial strategies, and help turn sales activity into confident, long-term platform adoption.
Taking end-to-end ownership of adviser onboarding within your panel, you'll proactively drive engagement, momentum and outcomes. You'll build strong adviser relationships, identify and resolve risks or blockers early, and ensure the platform is adopted, used effectively and sustained as a core part of advisers' propositions. Alongside this, you'll share adviser insight and feedback with Sales and internal teams to support growth, retention and continuous improvement.
