The opportunity
We are currently looking for a Global Inventory Management Analyst. Someone to join our Global Sales Operations team to build transparency around our global inventory and support data driven decisions across the organization. You will help us understand and act on inventory performance for new cars, used cars, and internals. A genuine interest in electric mobility, technology and problem solving will help you thrive in this role.
This is a position based at Polestar Headquarters in Gothenburg or a Polestar sales unit location. Occasional travel may occur. We believe in a hybrid way of working that balances onsite collaboration with individual focus time. What matters is that you have the time and support to deliver meaningful results and enjoy doing it.
The responsibilities
In this role, you will analyze global inventory performance and support the business with data-driven insights. As part of the Global Sales Operations team, you will play a central role in guiding stock management and operational steering through transparent, accurate and timely reporting. Below is a summary of the main responsibilities:
* Analyse global inventory on a weekly basis
* Provide analysis and insights to key stakeholders such as Finance, Logistics and Sales
* Support sales decision making through inventory sell down analysis
* Provide data for C-level reporting and presentations
* Support the Sales Operations team with data analysis to steer operations efficiently
The ideal candidate
To succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, you bring curiosity, structure and a continuous improvement mindset. You are comfortable navigating large data sets, drawing conclusions from complex information, and communicating clearly across different functions. You take initiative, work independently when needed and collaborate effectively with others.
You have a strong analytical ability and an eye for detail. You enjoy solving problems and adapting your communication to different audiences.
In addition, you will need the following qualifications:
* Degree in business administration, data analytics or a related field, enabling you to work confidently with unstructured data
* Strong analytical experience with excellent attention to detail, supporting high quality reporting
* Experience in data analysis tools and reporting solutions such as Power BI or Qlik, allowing you to build and improve dashboards
* Excellent Excel skills to handle and structure large data sets
* Experience with programming languages such as Python to support deeper analysis and dataset development
