Actuarial Reporting Analyst #LI-Hybrid

We are looking for a driven individual who will play a key role in a collaborative team built around actuarial market consistent valuations for Zurich FNWL. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to professionally grow in an international environment. Main responsibilities within this role are executing regular actuarial reporting and analysis under the IFRS 17 standard.

Your role

We anticipate that the motivated actuarial trainee will grow to assume a wide range of responsibilities including these:

* Perform calculations and produce analyses under IFRS 17 and other metrics with guidance of your senior colleagues.

* Support Group and local reporting process including reconciliations between various reporting bases.

* Analyze important actuarial metrics such as new business profit margin, loss experience, loss trends and expenses.

* Provide suggestions and implement optimizations for the local reporting process.

Your Skills and Experience

As an Actuarial Reporting Analyst, your basic skills and experience will ideally include:

* Master's degree in mathematics / statistics / finance or a similar area.

* Minimum 1 year experience working with IFRS 17 or other market consistent valuations.

* Basic knowledge of insurance products and operations.

* Strong analytical skills.

* Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude.

* Adaptability and flexibility

* English fluent in written and spoken (B2)

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

It would be a big plus, but is not required, if you'd have:

* Experience communicating analysis results.

* Programming skills in VBA and Python.

We offer

In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross monthly compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 2 000 EUR/gross. The final compensation package will depend on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

* Location(s): Bratislava

* Hybrid working: We would like to meet you in the office 3 times a week as a minimum.

* Schedule: Full-time, Slovak working hours
