Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Analyst Program

About the Program Our Analyst Program in Singapore is a 18-month structured rotation development program that offers you the opportunity to part of a dynamic work environment alongside industry experts to explore different front-office functions and gain hands-on experience in either of the following two tracks:

* Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Track: You will go through three 6-month rotations in either of the following: Structured Finance, Acquisition and Leverage Finance, Structured Credit and Securitization, Real Estate Finance, Sponsor Coverage, Loan Capital Markets, Sector Banking, and Corporate Solutions.

* Global Markets (GM) Track:You will go through rotations in the following: Sales and Structuring Solutions, Trading, Asset and Liability (Treasury Risk and Money Markets)

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be placed in a Front office role focused on your strengths, career aspirations and department requirements. Additionally, you will have the opportunity for an overseas work attachment, depending on performance and suitable vacancies.

Who are we looking for?

* We are in search of bright, curious, and enthusiastic individuals looking to launch their career in banking and finance.

* 2026 graduating Bachelor's or Master's degree students, or graduates with up to 1-year of work experience

* While we prefer degrees in Finance/ Economics/ Engineering/ Accountancy/ Law, we also welcome individuals from other relevant degree background to apply

* The successful candidate must be available to start in July 2026

Additional valued skills/experience:

* Proven record of academic achievement (minimum: Second Upper Class)

* Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

* Relevant internships in corporate and investment banking / global markets

* Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills

* Proactiveness, positive work and learning attitude
