Our 18-month Graduate Programme is designed to unleash your potential through three dynamic rotations, including an international assignment. You'll gain hands-on experience, build a global network, and lay the foundation for a thriving career in wealth management.

YOUR CHALLENGE

As a graduate joining our Platform Engineering team, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how hundreds of developers across our bank build and deploy applications. You'll tackle real-world challenges that directly impact engineering productivity and developer experience:
* Platform Modernization & Innovation: You'll contribute to modernizing our platform capabilities, helping migrate legacy systems to cloud-native architectures while maintaining zero-downtime for critical banking operations. This means working with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, serverless frameworks, and event-driven architectures to build the next generation of our platform
* Developer Experience Revolution: Your mission is to make complex infrastructure simple. You'll design and build self-service capabilities, automation tools, and intuitive APIs that enable application teams to focus on business value rather than infrastructure complexity. Every tool you create will multiply the productivity of dozens of development teams
* Multi-Language Ecosystem: You'll work across a polyglot codebase spanning Java, Python, Go, and Terraform, gaining exposure to different paradigms and building versatile engineering skills. This diversity means you'll solve problems using the right tool for the job, not being constrained to a single technology stack
* AI-Powered Platform Engineering: You'll be part of pioneering efforts to integrate AI into our platform offerings-from intelligent code generation and automated testing to smart resource optimization and predictive failure detection. You'll explore how AI can transform developer workflows, reduce toil, and accelerate delivery cycles
* Scale & Impact: Your work will serve 100+ development teams across multiple regions, processing thousands of requests daily in a highly regulated banking environment. You'll learn to build resilient, secure, and compliant systems that meet the highest standards of reliability and performance
* Continuous Learning: Platform engineering evolves rapidly. You'll be challenged to stay current with emerging technologies, evaluate new tools, and make informed decisions about which innovations to adopt. You'll have the autonomy to experiment, fail fast, and drive meaningful improvements based on data and user feedback

YOUR PROFILE

* Strong Technical Foundation: Good academic performance (bachelor or master) in Computer Science or related disciplines, with hands-on experience in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, or similar) and a solid understanding of software development fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and version control systems
* Cloud & Platform Knowledge: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern infrastructure concepts including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), with interest in DevOps practices and automation
* Curiosity & Continuous Learning: Genuine passion for technology with active engagement in emerging tech trends, particularly in areas like AI/ML, event-driven architectures, and platform engineering-demonstrated through personal projects, open-source contributions, hackathons, or self-directed learning
* Collaboration & Growth Potential: Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly, ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, ownership mentality with entrepreneurial spirit, and long-term interest in building a career in platform engineering and cloud infrastructure
