The Department of Sustainability Transformation & Business Building within Global Innovation & Sustainability is the global group driving Covestro's sustainability strategy in the areas of Circular Economy and climate protection, as well as the commercialization of circular and climate-neutral plastics production.
As an intern in the area of Circular Economy and Sustainability Management, you will support us in further advancing our circular economy strategy and roadmap, and in making our Circular Economy performance transparent. You will work at an exciting interface for the transformation of plastics production in the context of circular economy and climate protection.

In addition to our diverse benefits, a full-time position comes with an attractive remuneration of EUR2,270 gross/month.

What we offer

* You will contribute to the conceptualization of internal company surveys on aspects of the circular economy and climate transformation
* You will support the processing and optimization of databases for the documentation and validation of our Circular Economy and climate performance
* Preparing and creating presentations on the company activities of our department will be part of your responsibilities
* You will take on sub-tasks in Circular Economy and climate transformation projects
* Documenting your results as well as presenting them to colleagues will be among your tasks
* In addition, you will take on general organizational activities

What you bring

* You are studying in the field of business, natural, environmental, engineering, or social sciences, sustainability management, or a related field at a university with proof of enrollment.
* An interest in environmental sustainability, preferably gained through previous internships or academic focus areas, is an advantage.
* You have PC skills in the MS Office suite
* Flexibility, teamwork, and a friendly manner in direct contact with colleagues and customers are also important to you
* The internship duration is (preferably) six months
* You have very good German and English language skills
