R&D Internship Sensory Evaluation and Product Development

Job Description:
Support the Mars Petcare R&D team and deepen your knowledge in industrial research in the field of sensory evaluation. You will assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the internal sensory panel (preparation, evaluate, report writing and panel engagement) and support Central and Regional R&D teams with projects.

What will be your key responsibilities?

* Planning and executing sensory tests (discrimination and descriptive human sensory panels)
* Panelist training and engagement (newsletters, attendance, performance)
* Support development of prototypes within the framework of a defined project
* Support in providing recommendations for product development projects

What are we looking for?

* You have or are in progress of acquiring an advanced degree in chemistry, food science or nutritional science
* Ideally, initial practical experience, preferably in the field of sensory technology or product effect, product development or flavor analysis in the FMCG sector
* The ability to work independently and in a structured manner
* Initiative, enthusiasm and a problem-solving mentality
* Talent for communication in English, German is a plus
* Good MS Office skills
