Job Description & Summary

Internship in Regulatory Resilience

Do you get fired up about all things resilience (and cyber security)? Are you eagerly following along as the European Commission rolls out its next piece of resilience related regulation? And finally, are you just itching to launch your career in this fast-moving, fascinating field by getting the opportunity to dive head-first into these topics yourself, alongside an experienced team?

Do I hear three times yes? Awesome! Now read the following text to understand how this internship will be transposed into concrete tasks and responsibilities.

What you'll learn and do

First of all, you will meet our resilience team and get to know all of us. You'll soon experience the variety of resilience related projects we work on. You will get the opportunity to be involved in the regulatory topics that keep our clients (and thus our team) busy.

So, what will you do? In the broadest sense you'll be helping clients stay compliant with regulations such as NIS2, CERD, CRA, DORA, and more. You will assist clients in building their organisational resilience and ensuring they are prepared for any regulatory changes. And when we say assisting clients, we mean that literally. You'll get the opportunity to have real exposure to the challenges that these regulations bring to organisations and the people responsible for tackling them.

Here are some tasks that you'll get the opportunity to upskill yourself in:

* Performing research to provide quality answers to regulatory questions from clients

* Expanding clients' knowledge of resilience-related regulations, as well as your own!

* Help come up with strategies to further develop our regulatory resilience service offering, especially on CERD and CRA.

* Assist clients in understanding if they fall under a regulation (scope assessments)

* ...what they are lacking to become compliant (gap assessments)

* ... and how they can close that gap concretely (implementation advice)

* And more, every day brings new questions. While we don't always have the answer, we do have the mindset to find it!

Who you are what you're like

* Strong interest in regulatory topics such as NIS2, CERD, CRA, DORA, and more.

* Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.

* Fluent oral and written skills in English, plus either Dutch and/or French.

* Analytical and able to work independently, but also sociable and communicative to work together in a team and with clients.

* You align with our team's vision of contributing to a society where organisations see resilience as a core tenet of their target operating model.

* We are not looking for someone with all the answers (although that would be a plus) but a team member that has the willingness and passion to be able to discover them.
