Position: Web Portal Dev Co-op/Intern
Number of Position(s): 1
Duration: 4 Months
Date: May 4 - August 28, 2026 (Summer Term)
Location: Hybrid in Ottawa Office
EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for a Master's, bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

As part of our team, you will:
* Support the Nokia Developer Portal ( https://network.developer.nokia.com)
* Develop features using Python/Django
* Code, test, and debug new and existing features of the developer portal
* Take ownership of writing effective, scalable code
* Work closely with other developers and participate in portal-related discussions
* Work in a fast-paced environment with an excellent team of engineers

Profil requis du candidat:

Your skills and experience
* Strong programming skills in Python (Experience with Django Framework preferred)
* Some Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
* Strong grasp of object-oriented software design concepts.
* Familiarity with Unix (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).

It would be nice if you also had:
* Experience with Git version control system and/or micro-services build architecture (Gradle).
* Strong problem resolution skills: the ability to learn quickly.
* Knowledge of agile software design and test methodologies
