Intern - Finance & Controlling

Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Limited ("MBHK") is responsible for the wholesale business for all imported passenger vehicles under the brand name of Mercedes-Benz in Hong Kong and Macau. Applications for our Finance & Controlling Department Internship are now open for both local and overseas student. Successful candidates will have great exposure in Admin, Controlling, Accounting and Risk Management team. With this opportunity, you are capable to prove your skills and knowledge, gain new experience and attain industry-specific knowledge.
Expected start date & duration: Mid-June 2024, 6 months (full-time). Full commitment to the internship period is expected.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Admin
* Assist in procurement process and maintain expense record
* Manage and prepare reports on office supply inventory (e.g. stationery, franking machine, postage)
* Assist in staff and facilities management (e.g. new staff onboarding logistics, key management)
* Follow up on repairing and maintenance issues
Controlling
* Prepare management reports and presentations on overheads analysis
* Prepare regular internal control sample check
* Conduct research for financial analysis
* Analyze monthly marketing spending to find efficiencies
* Evaluate process landscape to find further automation possibilities
Accounting
* Handle invoice posting
* Perform the system administration
* Handle special discount verification
* Support on system user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Assist in stock take and on-site marketing event audit
Risk Management
* Assist in integrity & compliance communication and documentation
* Assist with internal control system (ICS)
* Assist in sanctions compliance matter and documentation
* Conduct researches on several compliance topics e.g., Data Protection and Competition Laws, etc.

Qualifikationen

Requirements:
* Undergraduate student or fresh graduate, preferably in Business Administration or Economy or related disciplines
* Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
* Sensitive to figures, attentive to details and analytical mindset
* Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
* Self-motivated, detail-minded and strong sense of responsibility
* Independent as well as a good team player
