Intern - Software Engineer

Description for Candidates
* Participate in software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and debugging
* Support development of backend or frontend components for digital applications
* Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams in an agile environment
* Learn and apply modern development tools, frameworks, and engineering practices
Qualifications and Competencies
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (in progress)
* Knowledge of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
* Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
* Basic understanding of web development, APIs, and databases
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position
Core Responsibilities / Activities:
* Develop and maintain software components (frontend/backend)
* Perform testing, debugging, and support code quality improvements
* Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams
Required Skills / Education / Experience:
* Degree in Computer Science or related technical field (in progress)
* Experience with at least one major programming language
* Basic knowledge of Git or version control tools
* Understanding of software development processes
Preferred (Nice to Have):
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) or container technologies
* Exposure to modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Spring Boot) or project experience
