About the Role:

Are you currently in school, learning about the new and fun ways of machines and the mechanical side of this growing industry? Are you a big fan of chocolate? Come join our team here at Fannie May, a division of (COMPANY NAME) USA in North Canton, Ohio, as our Mechanical Summer Intern! In this position you will learn about the current processes of our machines that have made the chocolate that has been enjoyed over the last 100 years. You will develop improvements on the processes and trainings for each machine.

This position is an INTERNSHIP that would Start end of May 2024 and will End at the end of August 2024. This is a 30 hours a week position and the schedule can be flexible. This is a PAID internship, however this position does not include; 401k, Health Insurance, Time off, ect.

Main Responsibilities:

* Assist in the development of new processes and trainings on all machines
* Work with MS office computer tools to create final versions of work instructions
* Perform time studies analysis to determine rates & cycles on production lines
* Perform all duties within GMP and SOP standards
* Perform additional duties as assigned

Who we are looking for:

* Strong computer skills, experience working with MS Excel and MS Word
* Strong analytical, investigative, and organizational skills
* Must demonstrate good insight and ability to develop mutual solutions to challenges
* Able to work in a team environment
* Mechanical aptitude
* Students pursuing a degree in industrial field or engineering preferred
