(www.influential.co) Overview Influential is seeking a detail-oriented, systems-minded intern to support a large-scale Learning Management System (LMS) migration project. This role will audit, organize, transfer, and optimize training materials as we transition to a new LMS platform. This is a highly operational role and is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, managing data with precision, and collaborating across teams to drive execution. You will play a critical role in ensuring our learning content is accurate, organized, scalable, and aligned across departments and global teams. Responsibilities Responsibilities Inventory and audit existing learning materials across platforms and shared drives Identify outdated or redundant materials and recommend retirement Organize and categorize content for structured migration Manually transfer and validate data into the new LMS Build course shells and upload learning assets Convert and reformat training materials as needed Ensure proper tagging, version control, and data integrity Communicate with department leads to gather and validate training materials Coordinate timelines and dependencies using project management tools Partner with global teams to align course structure and consistency Conduct system testing to ensure courses function properly Validate course paths, permissions, and user experience Identify errors or inconsistencies and recommend improvements What You'll Gain Hands-on experience with LMS migration and systems implementation Exposure to global learning strategy and operations Real ownership over a high-impact, company-wide initiative Cross-functional experience with multiple departments Practical experience in data integrity, system administration, and project execution Qualifications Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy Strong critical thinking skills & an ability to understand downstream impact of system changes Proven project management or organizational skills Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency Comfortable with manual data transfer and data validation Experience working in Google Drive and SharePoint environments High level of discretion and accountability Bonus points Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) Familiarity with course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, SCORM packages) Experience with Monday.com for project management Basic video editing skills Our Environment We operate in a fast-moving, high-performance environment within a larger global organization. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
