Role Overview:  
The Business Insights Intern position is a 10-week paid internship program designed to provide you with hands on experience that aligns with your interests and skillsets. Throughout your internship you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects to gain practical skills, industry knowledge, and contribute to projects that directly impact the business. In addition, you will gain exposure to our senior leadership through our Amp'd Up with Leader Series and participate in different social activities with other interns and team members. To support your professional development, you will also have access to a variety of workshops designed to help you develop professional skills and you will be assigned a mentor in an area of interest to help you along the way.

The Business Insights Intern position is the perfect opportunity to Amp Up Your Career in Business Intelligence and Analytics if you have a mind for helping develop data models, reports, and dashboards while collaborating with business and technology teams on impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Business Intelligence and Analytics Solutions:
Design, develop, and maintain data models, reports, dashboards, and analytics products, while supporting testing, documentation, user training, and continuous improvement of business intelligence capabilities.
* Drive Cross-Functional Project Execution and Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with business and technology teams to support strategic initiatives, identify dependencies and risks, manage stakeholder communication, and ensure successful project delivery.
* Optimize Data, Processes, and Analytics Best Practices:
Conduct ad hoc analyses, troubleshoot data issues, enhance internal processes, and promote analytics, product management, and knowledge-sharing best practices while evaluating emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications:
* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Management, or related field.
* Current Junior with a graduation date between May - June 2028
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools
* Hands-on experience with SQL, Git, and PowerBI or other visualization tools
* Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous leadership experience through involvement in student organizations, volunteer work, or previous experience
* Preferred knowledge of Google Cloud platform data (BigQuery or Composer) and ELT tools (dbt)
Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be $25-26/hour.
Working model and hours: Our internship runs for 10 weeks and is designed as a hybrid experience-spend three days each week collaborating in-person at our Minneapolis headquarters and two days working remotely. Interns work about 40 hours per week.
