We work in an agile manner, navigating constantly changing market needs together with our customers and partners. KONE Supply Chain also drives the Safety, Quality, Environment and Sustainability work across KONE.

We are looking for a

Summer Trainee

to join our global Packaging Development team.

Our team works in three different continents but this position main focus is on European activities. In our daily work we collaborate with several teams, Kone internal and externals. Trainee participates in packaging development projects and lead some improvement activities independently.

Responsibilities and Key Activities:

* Support development project for example by data collection, test preparations and status reporting
* Prepare and update packaging related documentation
* Prepare and update database guidance
* Execute simple and focused audits about KONE packaging requirement compliancy
* Analyze feedback data from delivery centers or customers and execute small corrective actions together with KONE factories or suppliers

Requirements for the role:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree studies in Packaging Technology or in similar engineering
* CAD, especially Creo knowledge is an advantage
* Project Management or process management studies or experience is an advantage
* The knowledge of packaging manufacturing technology & packaging materials is an advantage
* Fluent English
* Efficient user of Microsoft Office tools
* Independent working method and drive for results
* Good communication skills

The position is located Espoo or Hyvinkää in Finland. The preferred start would be in May 2025.
