Job Description Summary
As an Intern - Software Engineer, you will be part of our development team that work on the design, implementation, maintenance, and testing of patient monitors software. You will have access to world-class engineering facilities and be at the core of our mission to create advanced measurement technology for novel patient monitoring systems. You will work in a fast-paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure. Job Description

Responsibilities
* Port existing C/C++ embedded software to a new processor architecture and RTOS platform.
* Develop time-critical and safety-critical device drivers for hardware peripherals.
* Integrate and test hardware abstraction layers and peripheral interfaces.
* Debug and document ported software components.
* Follow and improve well-established principles for building robust and high-quality software products that are efficient, testable, and easy to maintain.
* Be part of continuous improvements in tools and our ways of working for happier employees and customers.

Qualifications and experience
* 3rd year or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant studies.
* Strong C/C++ programming skills.
* Understanding of embedded systems, hardware peripherals, and RTOS concepts.
* Self-motivated team player with problem-solving skills.

Desirable skills
* Experience with Zephyr OS or other RTOS platforms.
* Familiarity with multithreaded programming and device driver development.
* Experience with Git version control and software development tools.
* Interest in medical device development.
