Tesla is seeking an Intern Mechanical Engineer to work as part of the Tesla motor technology team located in Athens, Greece, contributing to in-house physics models development and CAE simulations.

What You'll Do

* Develop advanced MATLAB functions to model motor performance
* Gain expertise in magnetic measurements and magnetic materials
* Gain expertise in motor design and iron loss modeling
* Obtain deep understanding of physics behind iron loss
* Understand the basic physics and electromagnetics behind the operation of electrical machines and gain experience in modelling the respective phenomena with high fidelity

What You'll Bring

* MSc studies (ongoing) in Electrical Engineering/Electromagnetics
* Strong mathematical and physics background
* Very good understanding of electromagnetics and electric circuits
* Strong MATLAB programming skills
* Experience analyzing electric motors using Finite Element Method
* Experience using power analyzer/oscilloscope
* Fluency in English
