Group Sustainability Intern

Description du poste:

Within the Group Chief Sustainability Officer function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* Supporting knowledge and capability-building activities under the Sustainable Innovation workstream, contributing to internal toolkits, briefings, and learning materials
* Conducting research and analysis on key technical and strategic topics, including (but not limited to):
* Exploring electric vehicles and the mobility transition
* Assessing natural catastrophe risk, climate hazards, and resilience
* Analyzing demographic change and societal risk trends
* Examining climate transition and physical risk drivers relevant to insurance and investments
* Supporting benchmarking and quantitative analysis of peers, market trends, and regulatory or policy developments
* Assisting in preparing technical presentations, briefing notes, and analytical materials (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for internal stakeholders and senior management
* Supporting coordination and knowledge exchange across internal networks and communities, including interacting with country teams and technical experts
* Contributing to organizing and documenting internal working sessions and technical meetings

Profil requis du candidat:

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data, Public policy, or any related fields
* Strong interest in technical sustainability topics, climate and risk analytics, and the role of insurance in managing societal and environmental risks
* Comfortable working with data, analytical tasks, and structured research; proficiency in Excel is required, and familiarity with datasets, indicators, or dashboard tools is considered a plus
* Ability to translate technical content (e.g. climate risk, NatCat, EV transition, demographics) into clear, structured insights for internal audiences
* High proficiency in PowerPoint (clear storylines, charts, tables) and Word
* Curious, rigorous, and able to synthesize complex information into clear, decision-useful insights
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
