P&C Retail Data Analyst Intern

Description du poste:

We are looking for an Intern who will work within the Group Property & Casualty Retail Insurance and Technical Control function.
The role will support key initiatives within team through data analysis activities, including extracting and interpreting data from central platforms to monitor topline performance and understand trends across premium volumes, retention, new business, and portfolio mix.
A particular focus will be dedicated to the Motor business, with analyses addressing market trends, mobility evolution, and medium-term projections. This work will help build a clear view of how the Motor segment may evolve and how Generali Group's positioning could develop relative to broader market dynamics.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* Extract and analyze granular data from central platform using SQL, integrating with external data sources when needed;
* Create reports and visual summaries to monitor topline dynamics and assess alignment with strategic plans;
* Develop forward-looking models to estimate portfolio evolution, with a focus on Motor business

Profil requis du candidat:

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Knowledge of Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis and modeling;
* Ability to work with databases using SQL;
* Basic understanding of predictive/statistical models (forecasting, regressions, etc.);
* Strong analytical mindset and basic understanding of the insurance industry;
* Basic familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
