Air Liquide began operations in Malaysia in 1927 and is one of the pioneers of the gas industry in Malaysia. Operating in 11 locations in Malaysia, comprising both sales offices and production facilities, Air Liquide supports our customers through providing innovative solutions at every step of their production, including industrial and specialty gases, energy solutions, application technologies and services. With a strong workforce of 400 employees and business growth through our recent acquisition with nationwide presence, this will provide an exciting experience and journey with the opportunity that is unique yet challenging to gauge the integration and synergy processes that will change the entire competition landscape in Malaysia.
You will support daily operations by managing driver rosters, monitoring delivery safety, and resolving customer issues while assisting with distribution cost analysis. You will also play a key role in the local implementation of project by coordinating data preparation, leading taskforce meetings, and managing change initiatives.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
* Create monthly driver duty rosters and update delivery forecasts to support planning.
* Monitor daily delivery safety, compliance, and export logistics while resolving operational issues and customer complaints.
* Support distribution cost management and performance reporting to improve operational efficiency.
* Manage departmental documentation and files within Google Drive.
* Lead the local implementation of project, including data preparation, user testing, and change management.
* Coordinate weekly taskforce meetings and act as the local point of contact for the regional project steering committee.
* Identify potential project risks and prepare mitigation plans for the management team.
Are you a MATCH?
* Final-year students with a strong interest in pursuing a career in Supply Chain.
* Proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and organized record-keeping.
* Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
* Strong problem-solving and project management skills to ensure tasks stay on schedule.
* Logical and efficient approach to handling unexpected issues or difficult customer interactions.
* Understanding of process standardization and the ability to drive local process improvements.
* Knowledge of coding (e.g., Google Apps Script) is considered an advantage.
