About the Team
Join a dynamic and globally connected purchasing team at ZF Monterrey, where innovation and collaboration drive success. The team supports program launches and lifecycle management by working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You'll be part of a department that values continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional teamwork.
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Purchasing Intern to support sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization activities within a fast-paced automotive environment. This role will provide hands-on exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier risk assessment, and cross-functional coordination.

What can you look forward as a Program Purchasing Intern:
* Support sourcing activities including RFQs, supplier benchmarking, and cost comparisons for key Supply Chain Resiliency Project and Tariff mitigation
* Assist in tracking supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost) and maintaining supplier databases
* Follow up with suppliers and internal commodity purchasing teams on commercial and operational topics (quotes, timelines, documentation)
* Support internal coordination between Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Program teams
* Assist in documentation and tracking of sourcing decisions and project milestones

Your profile as a Program Purchasing Intern:
* Bachelor's degree in progress (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field)
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups; Power Query is a plus)
* Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Hybrid schedule 3 days at the office 2 days at home
* Avaliability to work 6 hours per day (7am - 1pm or 8am - 2pm)
