Internship Program 2026

The Internship Program 2026 aims to develop students' potential talent through experience of real-life situations in the corporate world, offering them opportunities to develop on a personal and professional level. Our approach prepares new talent to face their next professional challenges. Upon joining our team, the intern will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany them in their day-to-day life. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare new interns and kick-start the development of their full potential.

The position is based in Querétaro, Mexico

Tetra Pak does not sponsor work or relocation visas for this position.

What you will do

As a Production Intern-Print , you will:
* Automation and optimization of efficiency reports in Power BI.
* Breakdown of KPIs for different areas.
* Document and redesign formats, automate tasks, and create visual summaries that facilitate process understanding
Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Automation, Materials Engineer or related
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
* Microsoft Office Intermediate (excel)
* Power BI and SAP desirable
* Intermediate English: Can communicate fluently, with strong skills in both written and spoken English.
* Focus on data analysis and programming, with proactive attitude and effective communication skills.

As a Production Intern - Laminate, you will:
* Preparation of visual reports in Power BI and delivery of real-time indicators for operators.
* Implementation of continuous improvements and monitoring of their impact.
* Reduction of waste in the processes.
* Optimization of operational efficiency.
* Updating and management of current procedures.
* Agile leadership of Kaizen projects.
* Review, improvement and updating of operating procedures.
Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Automation, Materials Engineer or related
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
* Microsoft Office Intermediate (excel)
* Power BI, Power Apps plus
* Solid technical abilities and strong execution capabilities
* Intermediate-Advanced - Can communicate fluently, with strong skills in both written and spoken English.

As a Production intern-Cutting, you will:
* Support in loss analysis with the Focused Improvement (FI) pillar,
* Perform a time and movement analysis on the production floor
* Improved data analysis tools.
* The intern will work in the area of Finishes with mentorship from the pillars of FI (Focused Improvement), E&T (Education and Training) and QM (Quality). Focused improvement, education and training and quality.
* Participate in training sessions (from the development of training material to operator training).
* Analysis of loss data from previous days using P2 (Local Production/Quality Database).
Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial Engineering, Data Engineering, Robotics, Mechanics, Automation, Actuarial or any other related field
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
* Microsoft Office Intermediate (Excel)
* Power BI, SAP is a plus
* Intermediate - Can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills.
* Profile with communication skills within the team, ability to collaborate with different areas and leadership competencies

As a Maintenance and Projects intern, you will:
* Understand the concept of losses within the process.
* Collect clear and reliable data.
* Graph to visualize patterns and variations.
* Identify losses and possible root causes.
* Propose actions that reduce time and costs.
* Drive continuous data-driven improvements.
* Document and train relevant stakeholders
Bachelor Studies in progress: Mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, robotics or related engineering
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
* Microsoft Office Intermedia
* Power BI and SAP are desirable.
* Intermediate - Can communicate fluently, with strong skills in both written and spoken English.
* Profile with analytical, proactive, orderly, self-taught thinking.

We believe you have

* Academic training in one of the areas suggested for the selected position.

Availability for a 6-month program: from August 3, 2026 to January 11, 2027 (Maintenance and Projects area).
*
Availability for a 1-year program: from August 3, 2026 to July 5, 2027.( Production Intern: Print / Laminate/ Cutting).
*
Estimated graduation date: January 2027 or later (6-month program) / July 2027 or later (1-year program).
* Availability to work on-site for 6 hours a day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm, for the entire duration of the internship program.
