Junior Operations Specialist (OTI) Trainee with Spanish & Portuguese / / EyEfocus Early Careers Program

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Junior Operations Specialist, you will support daily Order-to-Invoice (OTI) activities for the Iberian region. Your work will focus on accurate order entry, basic customer communication, and initial-level returns processing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Enter customer orders into the system, ensuring accuracy of data, pricing, and product codes.
* Update order status and share basic order/shipping updates with customers.
* Manage simple order changes (e.g., address updates, quantity corrections).
* Respond to customer questions related to orders and deliveries.
* Support communication with customers, ensuring a positive experience.
* Escalate more complex matters to senior team members when needed.
* Check and validate return requests according to guidelines.
* Assist with preparing documents for credit processing.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the EMEA region for routine tasks.
* Participate in small process improvements or testing activities.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
* Students' status or fresh graduate
* Availability - min. 30 h / weekly
* Languages: Spanish, Portuguese and English - good working proficiency
* Basic understanding of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Basic knowledge of SAP/SFDC is an advantage but not mandatory (training provided).
* Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude.
* Customer centric approach.
* Interest in new technologies, including AI and automation.
