About the Role

This 12-month full-time internship offers a unique opportunity to join Essity's Global Business Services team in Lisbon. As a Master Data Intern, you will support critical internal services and be part of Essity's ongoing SAP transformation.

You will gain practical experience in master data management while working closely with international stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain. This role is designed to support your professional growth, giving you exposure to real business processes and the chance to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support Essity's global operations.

What You Will Do

* Supplier Master Data Support: Handle, dispatch, track, and resolve end-user requests and issues related to the Supplier Master Data process.
* Supplier Data Maintenance: Support the creation of new suppliers and updates to existing supplier records in SAP systems.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Secure and validate input from internal departments to ensure accurate and timely master data updates.
* Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and support initiatives aimed at improving master data quality, efficiency, and standardization.
* Project Participation: Assist with special projects and centrally led initiatives linked to master data and SAP transformation.
* Cross-Functional Interface: Work closely with Global Procurement, Accounts Payable, Financial Services, Master Data, and Controlling teams.
* User Enablement: Support end-user training and knowledge sharing related to master data processes when needed.

Who You Are

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in data management, business, finance, logistics, or a related field.
* Entry-level profile or recent graduate with an interest in master data, procurement, supply chain, or accounts payable processes.
* Exposure to SAP or strong motivation to learn SAP MDG, including R/3 and S/4HANA environments.
* Curious, adaptable, and service-oriented, with a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
