The Solutions & Proposals Intern will divide their time equally between two core focus areas: (1) supporting the development of high-quality proposals and bid submissions, and (2) leading AI and prompt engineering initiatives to improve daily work processes. This hybrid role combines hands-on proposal development experience with innovation work focused on leveraging technology to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Support
* Assist in analyzing bid documents (RFI, RFQ, RFP) to identify requirements and support the creation of proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and development plans.
* Support adherence to bid processes and documentation standards, including formatting, proofreading, and copy checking of proposal documents.
* Support quality assurance checks on draft and final proposal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professional presentation.
* Assist in documenting lessons learned from completed proposals and contribute ideas for process improvements.
* Provide coordination support for oral presentations, proposal discussions, and proposal revisions as required.
AI-Driven & Digital Initiatives
* Serve as initiative owner and lead prompt engineering projects focused on improving daily work processes, content development, and proposal efficiency.
* Research, test, and develop effective prompts and workflows for AI tools (Eg. JLL GPT, ChatGPT, Gemini, Co-Pilot) tailored to proposal development needs.
* Evaluate and pilot emerging AI tools and technologies, conducting proof-of-concept trials and providing recommendations on adoption suitability.
* Document best practices, create user guides, and facilitate knowledge transfer on AI tool usage and prompt engineering techniques for the team.
* Track and measure the impact of AI initiatives on workflow efficiency, quality improvements, and time savings.
Key Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Business Analytics, Built Environment, or related field
* Demonstrated proficiency in prompt engineering with practical experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Co-Pilot, or similar platforms).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with collaborative tools is an advantage.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document information clearly and accurately.
* Strong coordination and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
* Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Good time management skills, with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
* Minimum 3-month internship commitment required; 6-month availability preferred.
Learning Outcomes:
* Gain hands-on exposure to enterprise-level bid and proposal processes, from interpreting RFP requirements to supporting final submissions and presentations.
* Develop advanced skills in prompt engineering and AI application within a professional services context, with direct ownership of innovation initiatives.
* Build practical business writing, analytical thinking, and cross-functional coordination skills while supporting live, time-sensitive proposals.
* Learn to evaluate, implement, and measure the impact of technology solutions in real-world business workflows.
