Perfusion culture enables sustained high-density cell culture with continuous product harvest, generating a steady stream of cell-free culture fluid suitable for direct integration with automated purification operations.
* You will work on establishing this autonomous system to enable rapid, high-throughput material generation for early-stage development activities, significantly accelerating timelines and reducing manual intervention in the production of monoclonal antibody samples for process development and characterization studies.
* Your mission will focus on automating the critical downstream purification sequence, specifically:
* Affinity capture chromatography on ÄKTA systems using Protein A columns for monoclonal antibody capture.
* Automated low-pH viral inactivation to ensure viral safety.
* Depth filtration for particle removal.
* You will design and execute experiments to characterize individual unit operations, optimize their integration into a continuous workflow, and demonstrate that the autonomous platform consistently produces high-quality monoclonal antibody material suitable for development studies.
* You will be trained to be autonomous, and you will have the opportunity to present your work during various meetings.
