TotalEnergies has developed a strong expertise in oil and biofuels, natural gas and electricity trading. Trading entities are based in Geneva, Paris, Houston and Singapore.
Today, thanks to an international openness, a political and economic stability and strong competences in the financing of commodity trading and shipping, Switzerland has a leading position in international commodity trade.

This is why TotalEnergies installed naturally its European trading hub across oil and biofuels, natural gas and electricity in Geneva, which now bring together very large teams around trading activities: Trading & Shipping (T&S) and TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP).

T&S is a trading company in charge of all physical trading and shipping of crude oil and refined products on behalf of the TotalEnergies Company. It has been an active participant all over the supply chain as well as on the derivatives paper market in order to manage the market risk for a long time). As such, it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution.

TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping operates at the heart of global energy markets, across oil, gas, power and LNG. In this fast-moving environment, innovation is not theoretical: it is a way to identify new opportunities, improve decision-making, strengthen collaboration and support the transformation of our trading activities.
The Trading Innovation Lab, TILT, was created to accelerate this ambition. It acts as a hub connecting business teams, digital experts, startups, technology providers, academic institutions and internal communities around concrete innovation initiatives.
As an Innovation Lab Intern, you will contribute to the development of this ecosystem and help turn ideas into visible, structured and engaging initiatives. You will work in an international trading environment, interact with stakeholders across commodities and functions, and support projects that bring innovation closer to the business.
This internship is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to combine innovation, communication, project coordination and business exposure in a global energy trading context.
1. Innovation Community & Stakeholder Engagement
You will help animate and grow the TILT innovation community across TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the organization of innovation events, talks, workshops and short courses
* Helping identify relevant themes, speakers and contributors linked to digital transformation, AI, emerging technologies and energy trading
* Coordinating with internal teams across gas, power, oil, LNG and support functions
* Contributing to the engagement of internal audiences and helping increase participation in TILT initiatives
* Supporting relationships with external partners such as startups, technology providers and academic institutions
2. Innovation Events & Project Coordination
You will contribute to the planning and smooth execution of TILT activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Building and maintaining the Innovation Lab events calendar
* Coordinating logistics, agendas, registrations and follow-up actions
* Supporting the preparation of workshops and collaborative sessions
* Tracking actions, feedback and outcomes after events
* Helping ensure that innovation initiatives are well structured, visible and delivered on time
3. Communication & Content
You will help make innovation initiatives clear, visible and engaging for internal audiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and updating internal communication content related to TILT activities
* Contributing to internal web pages, event descriptions, newsletters or community updates
* Translating complex innovation topics into clear and accessible messages
* Working with IT, web and communication teams to improve digital tools and user experience
* Ensuring that information, registrations and content are accurate and up to date
4. Innovation Lab Operations
You will support the day-to-day running of the Innovation Lab and help create a professional and engaging experience for participants.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the organization and readiness of lab spaces, equipment and materials
* Ensuring smooth execution of events, workshops and collaborative sessions
* Helping improve internal processes and ways of working for the lab
* Bringing ideas to make the innovation community more active, visible and impactful

Profil du candidat

You are currently pursuing a Master's degree or equivalent in Innovation, Business, Digital Transformation, Communications, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Management or a related field.
You are curious, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment. You enjoy connecting people, structuring ideas and turning concepts into concrete actions.
We are looking for someone with:
* A strong interest in innovation, digital transformation, emerging technologies and energy markets
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organization and project coordination skills
* Previous experience in event coordination or event management is a plus
* A proactive mindset and the ability to take ownership
* A service-oriented approach and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
* Good analytical skills and attention to detail
* Confidence in preparing clear content, presentations or internal communication materials
* Fluency in English; French or another language would be a plus
A tri-partite internship agreement is mandatory.
