IOS Engineer Intern (Global Payment) - 2027 Start

Participate in the development of core Global Payment client-side capabilities, covering e-commerce / local services checkout, credit and financial services, TikTok Pay wallet, standalone payment apps, AI exploration, and other key areas. - Payment scenarios: Work on client-side checkout solutions for cross-country payment rule differences, multiple payment method combinations, and complex business scenarios. Help build highly reliable and highly available checkout experiences, continuously improving transaction success rate, user payment experience, and system stability. - Financial wallet scenarios: Participate in the global capability development of TikTok Pay, including account systems, fund management, local wallet integrations, and payment compliance capabilities across multiple countries. As the business continues to expand, help TikTok Pay evolve from a basic payment capability into a user-facing financial entry point, with the ambition of becoming a widely used global payment tool. - Architecture scenarios: Participate in client-side checkout architecture governance and foundational capability building, including dynamic rendering, componentization, link decoupling, container capabilities, performance optimization, and stability improvement, enhancing system reusability, scalability, and overall R&D efficiency. - AI scenarios: Participate in the application of AI in client-side development and core business scenarios, helping build an AI-driven R&D and system capability framework. This includes, but is not limited to, improving development efficiency through AI, such as code generation, workflow-driven development, and business understanding; participating in the design and practice of AI Native / Agentic Commerce capabilities, including interaction models and capability abstractions for agents; exploring and contributing to cutting-edge AI payment capabilities and industry-standard protocols; and promoting intelligent capabilities across payment and financial flows, such as decision intelligence, recommendation intelligence, and experience intelligence, to continuously improve engineering efficiency and business outcomes. Responsibilities - Participate in the development of core Global Payment iOS client capabilities, covering checkout experiences for e-commerce and local services, TikTok Pay wallet, credit and financial services, standalone payment apps, and AI-related explorations. - Support the design and implementation of reliable and scalable iOS checkout solutions across multiple countries, payment methods, and complex business scenarios, helping improve transaction success rate, user payment experience, and system stability. - Contribute to TikTok Pay wallet capabilities on iOS, including account-related features, fund management flows, local wallet integrations, and payment compliance requirements across global markets. - Assist in iOS client-side architecture improvements, such as componentization, dynamic rendering, link decoupling, container capabilities, performance optimization, and stability enhancement. - Work closely with product, design, backend, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve engineering efficiency. - Explore the application of AI in iOS client development and payment scenarios, including AI-assisted R&D workflows, intelligent user experiences, and emerging AI-native payment capabilities

Profil requis du candidat:

Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information, Telecommunications, or related fields. - Solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and computer networks. - Good coding habits and learning ability, with the ability to write clear, stable, and maintainable code under guidance. - Strong problem-solving ability and self-motivation, with willingness to deeply understand business logic and technical details. - Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly communicate problems, progress, and risks. Preferred Qualifications - Familiar with Objective-C or Swift, with basic understanding of iOS development frameworks, common components, and development workflows. - Understanding of iOS fundamentals, such as lifecycle, UIKit, Runtime, memory management, multithreading, network requests, and data storage. - Interest or practical experience in KMP/CMP cross-platform development. - Interest or practical experience in AI-Native development, including AI Coding, code understanding, automated test generation, knowledge base construction, and R&D workflow automation. - Internship or project experience in large-scale internet products, transaction systems, e-commerce, payments, finance, wallets, risk control, or infrastructure
