BRED IT (Thailand) Ltd.is a wholly owned subsidiary of the French bank BRED Banque Populaire based out of Paris (BPCE Group).

Poste et missions

We are looking for a QA Officer to manage and perform testing activities in order to improve the quality of BRED's IT software deliveries.
In this role, you should have experience in software QA testing for core banking systems. You must be analytical and an excellent communicator in French and English. If you also have strong problem-solving skills, we would like to meet you.
You will be part of a strong testing Centre of Excellence for a major bank operating in France and Southeast Asia.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND OBJECTIVES
* Analyze business needs and functional requirements and design test cases.
* Execute test cases according to the test plan and produce test reports describing the assessment, testing activities and software compliance.
* Create well-structured test plans and test cases for new or upgraded software projects.
* Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities, and perform thorough testing when defects are fixed.
* Manage defects: log issues, follow their lifecycle and produce defect reports.
* Update and maintain all test artefacts in the central test management tool, as well as the test assets owned by the QA team.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
* Prepare test summary reports.
* Work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, be agile and proactively resolve issues.

Profil et compétences requises

EDUCATION
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
* Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) in order to work effectively with international stakeholders.
* French language skills are a strong plus.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
* At least 2 years of experience in designing test plans, test specifications, test cases and test data.
* Basic banking knowledge and prior professional experience on banking projects.
* Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
* Experience using a test management tool.
