Your Opportunity
Our Public Sector Advisory team works at the intersection of the public and private sector to find points of connection and insight that help clients make tough calls, turn around challenging initiatives, and deliver tangible outcomes. We set strategy, solve complex public policy challenges, and support public servants to partner with the private sector. We do this across financial and commercial advisory settings, and in major procurement and supply chain reforms. Our team work across all elements of the sector, including transport, health, energy, education, defence and justice, and the environment.
We are seeking motivated students who are ready to launch into a career different to the formulaic career path of a traditional consulting firm. Here, you'll be motivated by real impact. You will experience hands-on apprenticeship with Partners who pride themselves in being deeply involved in the work. You'll contribute to the growth of the business and get exposure to senior leaders in Government.
But it's not all about work. You'll be given a buddy to help you navigate office life as you settle in. You'll choose a mentor who will help guide your career. We host regular events and activities, bringing together our close-knit team in a friendly and relaxed environment so you can get to know the people behind the professionals. You'll also become a member of Accelerate, our young professionals networking group

Qualifications

* Currently studying a tertiary degree of your choice (Law, Commerce/Business/Economics/Accounting, PPE, Engineering, Actuarial/Mathematics or Sustainability)
* Clear communication skills, including the ability to synthesise complex information in both oral and written formats
* An interest in public policy and government
* Knowledge of current affairs and industry trends
* Comfort working independently and taking ownership of end-to-end problems including taking initiative to solve problems holistically
* Relationship building skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse client and internal stakeholders
* Due to program requirements, successful candidate must be an Australian citizen
