Humana Illinois Market seeks a Quality Improvement Professional 2 to analyze and measure current business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable improvements. This role involves varied work assignments requiring interpretation and. The professional must understand departmental, segment, and organizational strategies and goals, as well as their connections to related areas, to drive effective process enhancements.

Position Responsibilities:

You will research and benchmark best practices to drive quality and operational excellence, while analyzing process data to identify opportunities to improve safety and cost effectiveness. You will conduct CMS and state audits, including HRA compliance and transitions of care, to strengthen compliance and quality outcomes. You will also validate source system data for required reporting, present audit cases, and support the organization through CMS and state audit activities.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* 2 years of experience related to process improvement, compliance measures, or auditing practices or 2 years of experience in Medicaid/Medicare Care Coordination
* Ability to travel to Schaumburg office at minimum 2- 4 times yearly for State and CMS Mock audits
* Occasional travel to Louisville for an extended period during CMS Audits
* Manipulate and interpret data
* Work within structured contractual time compliance requirements with occasional short turnaround time.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of HEDIS/Stars/CMS/Quality.
* Experience in Medicaid or Medicare Guidelines.

Work at Home Requirements
* At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
* Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
* Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
* Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Additional Information:
* Workstyle: Remote
* Travel: Travel may be required to support state and federal audits.
* Core Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday; typically, 8:00am - 5:00pm Central Standard Time.

Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$65,000 - $88,600 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
