About the Role

As a 2nd or 3rd Year Mechanical Apprentice, you'll work closely with a qualified mentor who will help you develop your trade skills and gain practical experience in a large-scale, fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

* Work safely and follow all procedures

* Maintain quality standards when working on equipment

* Support with small mechanical issues and minor stops

* Assist with changeovers and share improvements

* Join problem-solving activities to prevent repeat failures

* Collect basic maintenance data and support simple reporting

What you'll bring

* Working toward NZCE/Advanced Trade Certificate (Mechanical preferred)

* Good troubleshooting ability

* Basic machine knowledge and hands-on mechanical interest

* Keen to learn and gain more experience in maintenance activities

* Ability to support simple problem-solving tasks

* Basic understanding of maintenance engineering or inventory/supply processes
