RTR General Ledger Junior Analyst

The RTR general ledger Junior Analyst reports directly to the General Ledger Supervisor. The primary function is to play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. The junior analyst will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting
Financial Data Entry and Record-Keeping:
* Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software.
* Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
* Assist in reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
* Receive, review and post journal entries received
* Prepare monthly journal entries for AL/Airgas entities and business units
* Prepare and post journal entries such as standard accruals and ad-hoc journal entries monthly
* Bank reconciliations
* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Contribute to achieve the target of the performance metrics
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Are you a MATCH?

1. Bachelor or technical degree in Accounting
2. 1-3+ years accounting work experience
3. Intermediate level computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access) / Good analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand metrics and to present and communicate to all levels of the organization and external customers.
4. English: Advanced proficiency [B2]
