PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Data Services is an organization within SAP Concur that provides data analytics consultation, IBM Cognos report-writing services, and training to customers who use Concur hosted software applications such as SAP Concur Travel & Expense and SAP Concur Invoice.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The Data Services Consultant will:

* Manage a portfolio of clients and work with each client to craft a reporting strategy;
* Recommend best practice reports for specific client profiles, industries, or use cases;
* Gather business requirements, translate those business requirements into a design, create the reports or dashboards based on requirements;
* Work with the clients to distribute the results throughout their companies;
* Conduct trainings for clients who wish to learn how to use Cognos or learn more about the data model of the Concur solutions;
* Constantly empathize with our customers and call them whenever necessary;
* Effectively manage expectations that are set with customers;
* Collaborate across teams to provide the best customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's or Associates degree in a technical field (completed or in course);
* Knowledge in IT related areas, including BI solutions.
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English (CEFR B2 or above). Spanish is a plus;
* Familiarity with customer service and support for software or other IT products;
* Great Analysis and troubleshooting skills;
* Be a team player that is both eager to learn and to teach others;
* Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and assignments.

NICE TO HAVE

* SQL and IBM Cognos skills;
* Functional knowledge of SAP Concur Solutions.
