The Trainee role is a full time 24-month contract with Societe Generale where you will have access to a diverse range of training materials to help you succeed, covering various aspects of businesses, including but not limited to technical skills, leadership development, communication skills, client service and relationship management. To be eligible, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of Trainee contract.

* Support trading team on day-to-day operations
* Maintain and improve existing spreadsheets and tools used by the desk
* Develop on specific products a deep understanding and knowledge of parameters impact on pricing
* Develop new products and strategies under the lead of a senior trader
* Look at the risk systems and tools, and understand book deformations
* Establish good relationships with sales and structuring departments

Required

Profile required

* Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning or similar
* A previous experience in a trading floor environment would be appreciated
* Good communication and presentation skills
* Proficient/Good command of MS Office
* Fluent in English

Department Description

The Trading Team is in charge of executing equity hybrid derivatives trades on behalf of clients, and risk managing the resulting exposure on the banks' trading books. The Trainee will cover all equity hybrid derivatives products, with a specific focus on exotic and hybrid options. By nature of the trades, the trainee will also have to familiarize himself with secondary position risks on the following asset classes (Rates, Credit, Foreign exchange)
