JOB DESCRIPTION:

CRM Controller, France & BeLux

What You'll Work on:
Individual is responsible for leading the Finance team in charge of CRM France, Belgium and Luxemburg.
* Lead and execute P&L and Blance Sheet Plan, Latest Best Estimate (LBE) and Monthly reporting for CRM France, Belgium and Luxemburg. Ensure that financial information meets timing and quality of presentations requirements, facilitating management review and decision making while ensuring integrity of the data and compliance with GAAP as well as Abbott operating policies.
* Act as true business partner to the General Manager of France & Belux and partner with regional commercial teams.
* Manage, coach and develop team of 9 (Direct Reports: 3 direct reports, 6 indirect reports)
* Collaborate with Commercial leadership to develop, assess and implement strategic pricing initiatives to drive sales growth and meet financial commitments. These include important sales growth opportunities, which will contribute to the organizations short term and long-term business goals.
* Serves as Finance lead for large strategic initiatives. Acts as an advisor to senior management. Explores strategic alternatives and makes recommendations. Balances profitability with sales and volume growth.
* Key finance position to provide commercial team with insides and suggestions to achieve their goals (sales, growth, instrument placements) maximizing the financial results for the company (sales/Margin)
* Effectively communicates with all levels throughout the organization and external Customers. Conveys information effectively through formal and informal presentations. Prepares and presents to executive management and obtains their buy-in for major programs.
* Anticipates and identifies areas of tactical and strategic risk and mitigates risks through early risk assessments and implementation of fallback / mitigation strategies.
* Strategic and tactical decisions will be made based upon data the individual provides and/or presents in a management or informal setting. Consequences of erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally include critical delays and modifications to strategy and risk to delivering business results.
* Demonstrate continual improvement in financial planning and/or reporting.
* Being able to consistently deliver quality work in a fast moving and deadline driven environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING
Required
* A Bachelor's BS, Master in Finance, Accounting or Business related major.
* 10+ years Progressive Finance or Accounting career development. Experience in an affiliate, supporting a Commercial organization.
* Technical skills: Excel and Financial planning-analysis is a must.
* Native or fluent in English and French
Preferred
* Ability to leverage available information to develop analysis and answer questions in a timely manner.
* Deck preparation for senior leadership. Ability to communicate complex matters in a very simple way. Processes definition and communication.
* Rapidly learn the business and ability to quickly adapt to new ways of thinking or analyzing data.
* Experience working in fast paced environment and prioritizing multiple deliverables in tight timelines.
* Motivated, driven person that will look to deliver in all commitments on time and with high quality. Proactive, looking for solutions and enhancements.
* Honest and empathic. Ability to treat people of different cultures with respect and fairness always.
