Your Role
We are seeking a motivated student to join our team as a high-frequency circuit and system designer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and prototype PCBs for high-frequency applications, develop SPICE models, and evaluate the performance of solid-state relays, all while contributing to the development of innovative solutions for the future.

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Take responsibility: Utilize SPICE and Cadence software to simulate and model high-frequency circuits and systems, and perform EM simulations to analyze and optimize RF and microwave systems
* Shape the future: Design and prototype PCBs for high-frequency applications, including MW termination topics at frequencies up to 24GHz
* Keep the overview: Develop SPICE models of instruments and testers to analyze and predict analogue behavior
* Identify needs: Evaluate the performance of 24GHz and 60GHz solid-state relays, including simulation and testing
* Reliable work: Conversion of VBT-based test software from Ultra Flex to Ultra flex Plus ATE systems

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Study field: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or a related field
* Skills: Familiar with SPICE, Cadence, and EM simulation software. Also, you understand RF and microwave engineering principles, including circuit analysis and simulation
* Knowledge: PCB design and prototyping, including high-frequency applications (basic software programming knowledge is a plus)
* Way of working: Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Personality: Communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Language skills: You are fluent in English. German is a plusPlease attach the following documents to your application:

* High school report Important information:

* Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
* Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
* You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
