What you'll do:

As a Tool Maker you will be part of a small team responsible for the repair, maintenance and examination of all types of injection mould and metal press tooling.
"* Carry out all fault finding, tool repair, corrections and modification. Ensuring tasks and output is to acceptable standards in accordance with Company Quality Policy and Procedures.
* Translation of CAD drawings in order to complete required tooling tasks.
* Operate equipment and machinery for which they are authorised.
* General housekeeping of the department
* Ensure that lean manufacturing standards (5S+,documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
* Liaise with other departments/functions ensuring good Team collaboration
* Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with Company health and safety policy, whist adhering to the Eaton Life Saving Rules.
* Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with the Tool Room Team Leader
* Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives"

Qualifications:

"* Formal engineering qualification."

Skills:

"* B.TEC ONC or equivalent.
* Recognised apprenticeship training programme.
* Abrasive wheels regulations.
* Health and Safety at work."
"* Ability to work with and support Teams
* Engage in Company initiatives
