Amazon's Credit Risk team is seeking a creative and passionate Data Steward to oversee counterparty structure and organizational compliance responsibilities in a fast-paced, globally innovative environment. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert responsible for ensuring that legal structure cohorts for external counterparties are correctly configured and that compliance processes are clearly defined and consistently followed. You will validate legal entity clustering, maintain the quality and accuracy of counterparty data-including legal entity details, organizational structures, and appropriate exposure consolidation while ensuring that intra and cross-channel exposure reporting is both accurate and transparent. You will think big by identifying opportunities for automation and proposing process improvements that enhance the applications and systems relying on our data, while also diving deep into the details of day-to-day operations to uphold the highest standards of data integrity. As a trusted partner across the organization, you will take ownership of the end-to-end counterparty data lifecycle, working to earn trust with stakeholders through consistent delivery of reliable, high-quality outputs that support sound credit risk decisions at scale. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, demonstrates a bias for action, and is energized by the opportunity to build and improve mechanisms that drive operational excellence within a high-impact risk management function.

Key job responsibilities
* Partner with Amazon business units, IT, Accounting and Credit teams
* Ability to effectively explain/summarize complex concepts to varying audiences.
* Work with our technology and/or product teams to optimize systems for automation of processes and analytics
* Conduct complex account structure analyses
* Implement reporting mechanisms for stakeholder updates
* Own Monthly Business Review process and reporting to Senior Leadership
* Facilitate cross channel assessments in order to identify appropriate exposure reporting

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1.700+ gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card

Requisiti del candidato:

- Bachelor's degree in information systems, finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Undergraduate degree
- Ability to work with large data sets
- Technical skills including advanced excel skills
- 4+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 4+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
